Together, We Give Hope: A Year of Care, Connection, and Courage

Throughout 2025, your generosity helped the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) reach thousands of survivors, caregivers, and families through programs that provide support, education, and research funding. Whether you donated, volunteered, or helped spread awareness, you played a vital role in making this impact possible.

Every impact number tells a story: a meal delivering vital nutrition to a survivor in treatment, a care package bringing comfort and information after diagnosis, a support group reminding someone they are not alone.

At NOCC, we believe every act of giving is an act of hope. When hope leads to action, it creates lasting change for the ovarian cancer community.

Direct support and services

Your support turns compassion into action. NOCC provides programs that directly help patients and families facing ovarian cancer, offering hope every step of the way.

So far this year:

517 patients received financial assistance for expenses such as transportation, utilities, and groceries, totaling $547,500 in direct support.

602 patients and caregivers received 21,012 meals, helping sustain strength, nutrition, and recovery during treatment.

3,314 cancer care packages were delivered nationwide, offering comfort and practical resources to those newly diagnosed or facing recurrence.

24 individuals joined our grief and loss support program, a new professionally facilitated series that helps people cope with the loss of a loved one to ovarian cancer.

Connection and community

Across the country, survivors, caregivers, and advocates found connection and compassion through NOCC’s national support network, powered by regional managers who provide on-the-ground leadership across the United States. 

So far this year:

194 individuals participated in peer-to-peer support groups for survivors and caregivers, finding encouragement and understanding in a safe, welcoming environment.

263 individuals attended in-person programs and community gatherings, building connections that last long after the event.

Regional managers reached an estimated 12,000 people through local awareness and outreach, connecting communities with education, resources, and support.

Through their programs, events, and the incredible community of survivors and caregivers, I found connection, comfort, and hope.

Education and awareness

In 2025, NOCC’s education and awareness initiatives created more than 1.3 million connections through engagement across our website, podcast, email, and social media.

Each connection represents someone learning the signs of ovarian cancer, exploring treatment options, or discovering a support system they didn’t know existed.

In 2025, ovarian.org served as a trusted guide — delivering over 1 million connections to reliable information and supportive resources for survivors, caregivers, and families.

Launched in May 2025, Teal Talk–An Ovarian Cancer Podcast reached more than 4,600 unique listeners and over 9,000 total streams across audio and video audiences.

Over 18,000 YouTube views brought expert perspectives to the ovarian cancer community.

As a 17-year ovarian cancer survivor, I’m so thankful for the work of the NOCC, dedicated to spreading awareness of the signs and symptoms of this dreadful disease.

Commitment to research

NOCC invests in research that drives real progress. Through focused funding and collaboration, we support young investigators working on early detection, quality of life, and health equity.

In 2025, NOCC contributed $165,000 as part of an ongoing investment of more than $3.3 million in ovarian cancer research.

These investments accelerate the work of researchers to promote the long-term success of the gynecologic oncology field.

I am impressed by the NOCC’s commitment to funding innovative research and clinical trials, which offer hope for new and improved treatment options.
