Financial and Resource Support

Personalized support for survivors and families.

At the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC), we are committed to supporting people impacted by ovarian cancer beyond treatment. Financial and resource support helps patients and families navigate insurance questions, financial concerns, disability benefits, and practical challenges that can arise during ovarian cancer care.

NOCC’s financial and resource support team provides one-on-one guidance to help individuals understand their options and connect with programs that may provide assistance.

To ensure patients receive the most helpful support, NOCC collaborates with trained patient advocates from the Patient Advocate Foundation who help individuals navigate complex insurance and financial challenges related to cancer care.

You do not have to go through this alone.

Please note: Providing a quality experience to everyone we serve is our number one priority. To ensure our case management team can provide the in-depth, hands-on support required to resolve access and affordability challenges faced by survivors and families who look to us for help, we limit the number of new cases our team can assist with each day. Please know you can call the next business day.

What will I need to have in front of me when speaking to a financial & resource support team member or submitting an online request?

Having the following information available will help:

  • First & Last Name
  • Address & Phone Number
  • Gender, Ethnicity & Marital Status
  • Veteran Status, Employment Status, Date of Birth

Can loved ones, friends, or others call on my behalf?

Yes. Caregivers or other points of contact (family members, friends, social workers, etc.) may request support on your behalf.

NOTE: If you are the contact person and submitting the request online, there will be a section for you to provide your information and contact details so the case manager may reach out to you.

After you submit an online request for help, one of our staff members will look over your request, and you will be assigned to a financial & resource support case manager who will contact you within 2 business days.

What happens if I call and hear a message saying the team has reached the maximum number of individuals it can support that day?

If you hear this message, it simply means the Financial & Resource Support team has reached the number of new individuals they can assist that day. This helps ensure that everyone who connects with the team receives the time and one-on-one support needed to address their situation.

You’re welcome to call back on the next business day, or call 888-OVARIAN (888-682-7426) and press 0 to speak with someone on NOCC’s Mission Programs team.
