2020 was Team Walk 4 Laura’s first year participating in NOCC’s Together in Teal event. Mary Ann Cogliano captains this robust team in memory of her beloved daughter, Laura Cogliano McDermott. Laura passed away from ovarian cancer at a young age in December of 2019, and her family and friends honor her beautiful memory with action and advocacy. On September 26th, 2020, over 50 friends and family members walked along the water at Carson Beach in South Boston while raising over $14,000 for the cause. Thank you so very much, Team Walk 4 Laura, for fueling our mission and helping us break the silence on ovarian cancer!
