Our complimentary DigiTEAL Learning Series addresses the ongoing needs of patients, survivors and caregivers. Offered in four one-hour sessions, it emphasizes the importance of self-care and coping skills, and includes resources and timely educational and interactive programs.

DigiTEAL helps participants gain a sense of control and inner peace through community engagement. Designed for those in a shared experience, the series is held in a safe and intimate online setting. To promote this nurturing environment, each session will be limited to a first-come-first-served basis. Once registered, each participant will receive a complimentary DigiTEAL care package.

Calming Stars – Art Therapy for Self-Care and Stress Management

Presenter: Mignon Dupepe LCPC, ATR
Join NOCC and Twist Out Cancer for an evening of healing, relaxation, and self-care through art. Art therapy can help reduce symptoms of depression, anxiety and stress related to a cancer diagnosis. Using star metaphors and symbols, we will explore grounding and breath practices that support self-care and stress management. No artistic background is necessary to participate — just an interest in using art for expression.  We encourage you to use what you have in your home when possible. Suggested art supplies include: white multi-use paper or watercolor paper, colorful markers or crayons (including white crayon), table salt, watercolor paints and paintbrush, oil pastels, paper towels, and a cup of water.
