Communication Between Survivors and Caregivers

Presenter: LeighAnn Caulkins, MSW, LCSW
Good communication, let’s face it, is hard. After an ovarian cancer diagnosis, it can become even more challenging.  But good communication lets you express yourself. It also helps you better communicate your own struggles, emotions, limits and needs as either a survivor or caregiver. You will need to work together when speaking with the medical team, friends, and family. Learn how to navigate these challenges by discovering tips and tricks that can help improve your communication skills and reduce stress in your relationship. We encourage survivors and their caregivers to attend this session together.
