There are several ways to participate in the NW Ohio/SE Michigan Chapter of NOCC. The Chapter has many volunteer opportunities available to suit all skills and abilities such as:
If you are interested in any of the above volunteer opportunities, give us a call at 419-866-6622 or send an e-mail to email@example.com.
There are numerous opportunities within the San Antonio Chapter to help raise awareness and educate the community about ovarian cancer:
Check out the Events Calendar for information about the upcoming 5K Run/Walk to Break the Silence on Ovarian Cancer. Not a runner or a walker but would like to help the Chapter? Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for volunteer or sponsorship opportunities.
Raise awareness about the risk factors and symptoms of ovarian cancer by distributing literature to clinics and doctor's offices in your area. It only requires about 2 hours each month of your time! Contact us at email@example.com for additional information.
Health Fairs provide a wonderful opportunity to talk to women one-on-one about the risk factors and symptoms of ovarian cancer and encourage them to really listen to their bodies. Typically, health fairs are conducted during normal business hours and require about 2-4 hours of your time. If you are interested in participating in a health fair, contacct us at firstname.lastname@example.org. If your company or group is having a health fair, please let us know. We would like the opportunity to participate.
Another great opportunity to speak to groups of people about ovarian cancer. If you are interested in being trained to be a speaker on ovarian cancer, contact us. Or, if you would like for us to give a presentation to your group or organization, contact us at email@example.com.
A BIG "THANK YOU" TO ALL OF OUR VOLUNTEERS FOR THEIR SUPPORT AND WONDERFUL WORK IN RAISING AWARENESS ABOUT OVARIAN CANCER!
The Pittsburgh Chapter holds monthly meetings with speakers. The meetings are open to survivors, family members, caregivers, and anyone with an interest in learning about ovarian cancer and supporting NOCC's mission.
