The Next Chapter at Medical City is hosting a Cooking Against Cancer class:
Executive Chef Nancy Maslonka has spring fever!
She’s hosting another of her popular Cooking Against Cancer classes, and treats include the creamy goodness of her famous smoothies. She’s focusing on dishes that please on your dinner table, but can make the leap to the picnic basket, or backyard barbeque.
Chef Nancy is a former Viking Culinary School instructor, food writer for the Dallas Examiner, and now makes mouths water as the Executive Chef at Medical City Dallas Hospital, and Medical City Children’s Hospital.
Where: Medical City Children’s Hospital Atrium
When: Wednesday, April 10, 6 pm-8 pm.
What: Cooking demonstrations of five easy dishes, with generous tastings after each presentation. Guests will go home with recipes, and information on the top 10 best cancer-fighting ingredients to add to their pantries. Cooking against Cancer is a Next Chapter program.
Who: Adults 18 and over, and young chefs 13 years of age and older, accompanied by an adult. Space is limited.
